The NHS Trust are looking for a Band 7 Paediatric Nurse to work on a full-time permanent basis in London. They are looking for a highly motivated and autonomous practitioner with experience of working either in a community and/ or emergency care setting. Paediatric minor injuries experience is highly desirable but not essential as training can be supported.
Your new role

What you'll need to succeed

  • Registered Paediatric Nurse with current NMC registration.
  • M.Sc. in Advanced Assessment or equivalent.
  • Proven experience of utilising expert diagnostic and clinical skills to provide autonomous, unscheduled medical care and management of patients presenting with undifferentiated and undiagnosed conditions.
  • Experience working autonomously in an emergency or other unscheduled care environment or working autonomously within a GP surgery.
  • Competent in physical examination of patients from 0-16 years.
  • Specialist knowledge in clinical reasoning, history taking, physical examination, diagnostic skills and prescribing/treatment.
