As an Accounts Payable Assistant/ Trainee, you will play a vital role in supporting the Purchase Ledger team and ensuring that all supplier invoices are managed in line with our client's policies and procedures. Your responsibilities will include processing and coding invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and providing general finance administration support. Additionally, you will be responsible for handling invoice queries, posting invoices, and obtaining necessary approvals.

To excel in this role, you should have proficiency in using a range of office software, including email, spreadsheets, and databases. Excellent organisational and time management skills are essential, as well as a strong attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines with accuracy. Furthermore, excellent customer service skills, the ability to influence others, and strong oral and written communication skills are key to success in this position.

Our client offers a competitive annual salary ranging from £23,000 to £25,000, depending on experience, and a full-time working pattern from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5:30 pm.
