A prestigious client based in Farnham has an exciting opportunity for a Medical Study Administrator to join their expanding business. Working within a friendly and well-established team, you will be playing a crucial role with an opportunity to work in surgical studies across the globe.

Medical Study Administrator - About The Role

In this role you will be reporting into the Director of Clinical Operations and supporting the current team of administrators. This well-established firm is looking for someone who wants to build a career in medical device clinical research and to be a pillar of support within their organisation. This vacancy is available simply as a result of the success of the business, and they are looking to bring someone on board who enjoys being busy and thrives under job satisfaction.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • General clerical and administrative support
  • Assist with study administration e.g. preparing investigator site files and investigator memos, populating visit reports
  • Maintain electronic and hardcopy versions of the study Trial Master File (TMF) and electronic study folders
  • QC and filing of study related documents in accordance with GCP and company SOPs
  • Maintain and update Excel study trackers e.g. contracts, insurance certificates, CVs, site payments
  • Coordinate the foreign language translation of site documents
  • Attend sponsor conference calls and prepare and circulate minutes
  • Arrange internal/external meetings for assigned clinical studies
  • Developing good communication with sponsors, external service providers and other team members
  • Assist with data entry and database checking, where appropriate
  • Perform accountability, masking, labelling and destruction of study product and trial supplies
  • General clerical and administrative support duties, as required: filing, archiving, photocopying, scanning etc.

The successful Medical Study Administrator will have/be:

  • Relevant degree
  • Good interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Computer literate
  • Self-motivated and numerate
  • Ability to work independently and to manage and prioritise workload effectively
  • Knowledge of ICH GCP is desirable but not essential
