Our client are a medium sized care company providing Domiciliary Care and Supported Living from three branches in the UK. From the Newcastle-under-Lyme branch, they mainly offer domiciliary care in the community across ST5, ST6 & ST7 postcodes. Their customers are elderly and vulnerable, and they support them every day to lead the best life they can.

The Role:

They are not an agency, they are a Care Provider contracted with numerous councils. As such they can guarantee your hours and give you a run that is carefully planned so they will not send you all over Stoke on Trent and Newcastle under Lyme. Your work will be planned to ensure you routinely work with the same customers which helps you, their future staff members, to provide high quality, consistent care.

About You:

They are looking for new candidates that are excited to get into the care sector for the first time, or experienced carers looking to work for a care provider that puts people first.

They provide full training in preparing candidates for their role and they pay candidates to complete their training.

Hours and Pay:

Full-time and part-time contracts available (5 hour, 16 hour and 32 hour permanent contracts)

Basic rate: £13.00 per hour.

Overtime rates:

  • £13.05 per hour for weekday overtime.
  • £13.30 per hour for weekend overtime.
  • Up to double time for festive bank holidays.

Milage paid at 33p per mile

Shifts are set - earlies 06:30 - 14:30 or lates 15:30 - 22:30

Alternate weekends are required.
