Randstad Education is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join us. In order to assist students in improving their language proficiency and succeeding academically, English teachers are essential. This is a wonderful chance to shape education and motivate the next generation of thinkers.

This is a 1 year fixed term contract, starting as soon as possible

**Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective English lessons to students of varying abilities and needs
  • Assess and evaluate student progress through ongoing assessments and formal examinations
  • Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their language skills
  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the individual learning styles and needs of students
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to develop and refine curriculum materials
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, grades, and performance
  • The ability to relate to and communicate effectively with parents and carers and to encourage their active participation in the educational process

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - this is essential
  • Bachelor's degree in English or a related field
  • Eligibility to work in the UK is essential
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service - this is essential
  • Minimum of 3 Months teaching experience in the UK
  • A proven track record of recent and successful class teaching in an 11-16 school
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English language and literature
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential
  • Organisational skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
  • Knowledge of the UK education system and curriculum
