AP Manager

I'm seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join an expanding, international multi-site orgnaisation. In this high-profile role, you will manage and develop the Accounts Payable functions, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, maintaining strong controls over the purchase ledger, payments to suppliers and contractors are within agreed terms.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Efficiently processing AP suppliers and service invoices
  • Managing company outgoing cash flow
  • Preparing, gaining approval for, and releasing supplier payments in various currencies using different payment methods
  • Reconciling and reviewing supplier statements
  • Overseeing and ensuring accurate inter-company invoicing and settlement
  • Completing and reviewing bank postings and reconciliations for multiple entities in multiple currencies
  • Taking a hands-on approach with key customer and supplier accounts to keep them up-to-date and maintain key relationships
  • Directly managing a team of employees
  • Prioritising workload effectively to meet all deadlines, particularly at month-end
  • Develop KPIs to track financial performance and efficiency.
  • Continuously seeking ways to improve processes, providing potential solutions, and implementing them to drive efficiencies

The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts payable, and have worked in a supervisory or management role. You should be able to work closely in a team as well as independently, with a strong work ethic and hands-on approach. Experience working in a multi-channel business environment is also required.
