Accounts Semi Senior

**We are seeking an Accounts Semi Senior to join our team based in Stoke on Trent.

The duties of an Accounts Semi Senior will include:

  • Preparing limited company accounts
  • Preparing and submitting statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and small limited companies
  • Effectively liaise with clients, HMRC and colleagues to resolve queries.
  • Preparation of self-assessment tax returns (an advantage)
  • Reviewing and submitting VAT returns
  • Understanding and preparation of payroll

We are seeking an Accounts Semi Senior who:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A working knowledge of Accounting packages (Excel, Xero, Sage, QB etc)
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Able to Mentor trainee members of staff when required.
  • AAT Qualified / QBE / Part ACCA qualified
  • Friendly, punctual, presentable and polite.
  • Ability to work well under pressure within a team and individually with a positive attitude
  • Driving licence & access to own car
