**We are seeking an Accounts Semi Senior to join our team based in Stoke on Trent.
The duties of an Accounts Semi Senior will include:
- Preparing limited company accounts
- Preparing and submitting statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and small limited companies
- Effectively liaise with clients, HMRC and colleagues to resolve queries.
- Preparation of self-assessment tax returns (an advantage)
- Reviewing and submitting VAT returns
- Understanding and preparation of payroll
We are seeking an Accounts Semi Senior who:
- Excellent communication skills.
- A working knowledge of Accounting packages (Excel, Xero, Sage, QB etc)
- Good organisational skills.
- Able to Mentor trainee members of staff when required.
- AAT Qualified / QBE / Part ACCA qualified
- Friendly, punctual, presentable and polite.
- Ability to work well under pressure within a team and individually with a positive attitude
- Driving licence & access to own car
