Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (Drivers will be proritised)

Duties as a SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Supporting the educational, social, and emotional development of pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored lessons for SEN chidlren
- Providing one-to-one support for pupils with SEN to help them access the curriculum
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborating with other staff members and parents/guardians to support pupil progress
Requirement of a SEN Teaching Assistant :
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Experience working with individuals with SEN
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- Relevant experience in a similar role within an educational setting
- Knowledge of SEN support strategies and techniques
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual children
