Blackwaters are recruiting for a cutting-edge tech business seeking a skilled and motivated Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. Salary up to £65,000. Fully remote.

Responsibilities:
- Obtain approvals for accounts payable invoices and ensure accurate departmental and GL code entries.
- Initiate weekly vendor pay runs.
- Process bank entries and reconcile bank statements.
- Manage credit card and expense management systems; reconcile credit card accounts.
- Assist with accounts receivable queries as needed.
- Support the month-end close process, including reconciling general ledger accounts for bank, accounts payable, and payroll control accounts.
- Compile and prepare information for tax and audit compliance.
- Perform various ad-hoc accounting duties to meet business needs.
- Assist in payroll preparation and maintain employee records.
- Ensure compliance with German accounting and tax laws.
Requirements:
- Experience with German accounting principles and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software DATEV.
- Good English communication skills.
