Regional Sales Manager

To support our progress, we are currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join us, specifically leading on our Kevington portfolio of special brick shapes (including brick cut & bonds, brick arches, chimneys & cladding solutions) across our Southern region – up to, and including the Northern Home Counties.

As our Business Development Manager, you will:

  • Profitable management and leadership of key developers, distributors and merchants within your region
  • Delivering increased sales and improved profitability through product specification and proactive sales activity
  • Acting as the key contact between the company and the territories customer base in order to exceed customer expectations
  • Promoting Kevington products into the customer base and in line with company sales expectations
  • Grow new and existing customer relationships in order to maximise the full potential of all accounts within the territory
  • Develop and manage a strong site pipeline in order to achieve sales targets.
  • Continually review sales data in order to support commercial activity whilst embracing emerging technologies to maximise opportunities within the sales cycle.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across our business to maximise cross selling opportunities and support internal business functions
  • Be accountable for the creation of Joint Business Plans (JBP) with key customers in order to ensure sustainable value and market share growth.
  • Ensure that first class standards of operation (including, CRM reporting) are consistently achieved

In order to be successful in this role, we'd ideally like you to be/have:

  • A proven track record in construction product sales, with strong negotiation and account management skills.
  • The ability to use relevant computer applications and to think creatively, analytically and commercially.
  • Drive for results
  • Highly self-motivated with strong resilience
  • A good understanding of the housing developer market and associated product knowledge.
