Our client is seeking a Social Worker to join their Child Protection Team in Dorset!

The role of a Social Worker:
- Experience in child protection and court proceedings, a positive outlook, and a commitment to kindness and teamwork. You will be responsible for managing a caseload within our Child Protection and Complex Child in Need (CIN) team, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to address extra-familiar risks and harms.
- Case Management: Hold and manage a caseload of child protection and complex CIN cases.
- Prepare for and attend court, providing expert testimony and thorough documentation.
- Act as the lead practitioner in child protection cases, ensuring the safety and well-being of children.
- Work collaboratively with adult practitioners and other professionals as part of our multidisciplinary teams.
- Address extra-familiar risks and harms, ensuring a comprehensive approach to child protection.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Social Work: A bachelor's degree in social work or equivalent.
- Registration: Must be registered with Social Work England.
- DBS Check: An enhanced DBS check is required.
- Experience: Proven experience in child protection, court work, and working within multidisciplinary teams.

- Motivational Interviewing: Previous training in motivational interviewing is advantageous but not essential as training will be offered.
