Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a public sector organisation in the East Midlands, to recruit a Procurement Officer on a permanent basis. This organisation offers flexible working arrangements with a generous benefits package.
Role:
- Assist the Procurement Manager in preparing tender and other procurement documentation for goods/services and works
- Conduct monthly contract reviews
- Represent the Procurement team in relevant internal and external meetings
- Maintain online documentation in accordance with required standards and practices
Individual:
- Understanding and knowledge of Public Procurement Regulations
- Experience assisting with procurement projects
- Studying towards or considering study towards Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS)
- Ability to work flexibly at pace and demonstrate use of initiative
