Role Summary

The Management Accountant will play a pivotal role in managing financial data, supporting decision-making, and ensuring smooth financial operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Month/Year-end Processing: Handling financial close processes and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Management Accounts: Preparing draft management accounts for review and presentation.
  • Budget Ownership: Taking charge of the budgeting process, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
  • Audit Responsibility: Leading audit tasks and ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Reporting: Creating various reports as required, including balance sheet reconciliations and depot reporting packs.
  • Business Partnering: Working collaboratively with internal and external teams to achieve business goals.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance roles.

  • Qualification: Actively studying towards or already qualified in CIMA or an equivalent accounting qualification.

  • Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence and collaborate with others.

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is a must.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills.

  • Ability to manage and complete tasks through effective business partnering.
