In this Financial Controller role, you will act as an ambassador for the company by promoting a positive image internally and externally and demonstrating support for our strategic direction.

Job Responsibilities
- Customer Communication: Communicate daily with customers, building and maintaining good working relationships and ensuring that all invoices are paid to terms
- Credit Checks: Perform credit checks for new and existing customers
- Customer Setup: Set up customer accounts, negotiate payment plans, and set up terms and conditions
- Internal Communication: Regularly liaise with the Sales team and maintain accurate activity notes within SAP
- Payment Allocation: Allocate incoming payments daily, phoning customers to request remittance advice when required
- Reconciliations: Perform regular account reconciliations, ensure bank reconciliations are completed daily and investigate and resolve any irregularities or enquiries
Essential Skills
We're looking for a team player with a positive and proactive attitude for this Financial Controller role. Key skills and experience include:
- Knowledge of accounts and SAP B1
- Familiarity with accounts payable and receivable functions
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Suite
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong data entry skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
