Criminal Defence Solicitor

Our well established client has a fantastic opportunity to join their busy criminal defence team in their Ryde Office.

The suitable candidate for this role will have strong roots in criminal defence work. You will strive to provide your clients with the best possible outcome, whilst managing your work in a timely manner.

The Role & Responsibilities:

  • The successful Solicitor will demonstrate successful management of a full and varied caseload including preparing matters for trial.
  • You will be liaising with clients and third parties, dealing with clients at police stations.

Person Specification:

  • Criminal Duty Solicitor
  • Able to communicate in a professional manner with internal and external contacts
  • Commitment to providing excellent client care
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work well under pressure, adapt to changing requirements
  • Team-focus with a flexible "can do" and collaborative approach to working with others, but also able to work alone.
  • Confidence to communicate with all levels in order to manage expectations and maintain effective working relationships

This is a full time role 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday, however this can be flexible and could offer part time hours, based in their Ryde office.
