Role Overview

As a FP&A Business Partner at Travelnest, you'll play a crucial role in our goal-driven environment. You will lead the charge in leveraging financial insights to drive strategic decisions, ensuring alignment with our organisational objectives. You will report directly to the CFO, and work closely with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team. This role has board exposure so a great opportunity to be at the centre of decision making within a fast growing business.

Responsibilities:

  • Budgeting and Forecasting: The core responsibility of the role. You will own our financial forecasting model, working across the business to ensure it tracks current performance and forecasts forward accurately. You will also manage budgets effectively, foresee financial needs, and optimise performance through data-driven analyses.
  • Business Partnering: Act as the financial liaison across teams, providing support for impactful decision-making. Foster collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve common goals.
  • Data and Insight: Serve as our data and insights engine, gathering and interpreting data to inform strategic decisions and KPIs. Notably, you will ensure that the business has in place the KPIs it needs to accurately track performance and make data-driven decisions
  • Goal Leadership: Drive our goals forward by offering insightful financial contributions and updates
  • Performance Management: Champion performance excellence through the rubric process, offering proactive feedback and coaching to drive continuous improvement across the business.

Who are you: Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in FP&A/financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Financial modelling, forecasting and business partnering are essential.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Independent - drives forward initiatives autonomously and with confidence
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, adept at working across diverse teams.
  • Commitment to high standards of performance and continuous improvement.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) a plus.
