Property Accounts Assistant - Part Time 3 days / week

£25,000 pro-rata (circa £15,000 per annum for part time)
My client, a successful international multibranch Estate Agency with a company portfolio of up to 1000 properties, are currently seeking an experienced Property Accounts Assistant with proven accounts experience within property, to join their busy office based in Stratford.
You will be supporting an accounts manager with the day to day workload of the client accounts department.
Duties
- Opening, sorting through and scanning post
- Putting supplier invoices onto the system
- Sending invoices to tenants
- Sending invoices to landlords
- Chasing tenants for payment of invoices
- Chasing landlords for payment of invoices
- Chasing refunds
- Allocating funds from the bank statement each day to the system
- Responding to email queries
- Collating a rent and service charge payments
- Remit payments to suppliers
- Save paid invoices onto cloud drive
- Going through supplier statements
- Accurately receipting rents on account
- Daily payments to landlords
- Safeguarding tenant deposits
Requirements
- Previous experience in property as an accounts assistant
- Exceptional written and verbal communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Strong numerical aptitude
- Outstanding customer service
- Strong organisation and administrative skills
- An ability to calmly apply initiative and common sense in prioritising and managing a busy workload
