The Head of Commercial Litigation
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Commercial Litigation to lead a talented and driven team of five. This role is perfect for a seasoned professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about navigating the complexities of commercial disputes. As the Head of Commercial Litigation, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the department while actively managing and growing your caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of five dedicated litigation professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Handle a diverse and complex portfolio of commercial litigation cases, providing expert advice and representation to clients.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the litigation department, ensuring alignment with the firm's overall objectives.
- Actively participate in fee-earning activities, driving business development initiatives and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Collaborate with other departments to offer integrated and comprehensive legal solutions to clients.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, promoting continuous learning and professional growth.
Qualifications and Experience Required
- A minimum of 5 years PQE in commercial litigation, with a proven track record of managing complex cases.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
