Data Engineer
I am looking for a Data Engineer to join my clients expanding team. You'll work remotely in the UK on projects for clients in the cloud data industry.
Role:
- Design, implement, and maintain data systems and architecture
- Develop and optimise ETL processes
- Perform data modelling
- Analyse data to support business decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Requirements:
- Experience in Data Engineering/Architecture
- Proficient in SQL and Python
- Experience with BigQuery, data warehouses, and data lakes
- Knowledge of real-time ETL pipelines
- Familiarity with Dataform, Airflow, GCP Workflows
- Experience with GCP services (GCS, Cloud Functions, Dataproc)
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform
- Experience in agile environments
Desirable:
- Experience with Spark (PySpark)
- Retail domain experience
- DataBricks experience
- Background in technology consulting
