Bid Writer – Torquay
An opportunity has arisen to join a well-established and reputable regional contractor as a Bid Writer on a permanent basis due to the success of pipeline of works. The purpose of the position is to take responsibility for co-ordinating subject matter expert responses in order to write and complete tender proposals within construction, specific responses for pre-qualification and tender submissions for projects in new build/refurbishments within Education, Commercial, Retail, Leisure and Healthcare up to a couple million.

Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and understanding client prequalification and tender documentation
- Interpreting quality questions and constructing response templates supporting subject matter experts
- Drafting and writing PQQ and / or bid submission responses using persuasive and positive language
- Review and evaluate all tender enquiries for completeness and accuracy
- Review and evaluate all project costs and provide a complete price submission
- Responsible for the final preparation and delivery of bids
- Complete all Approved Supplier Questionnaires (ASQs) and Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs)
- Final preparation and delivery of bids to strict deadlines
Requirements:
- Previous experience of Bid Writing in Construction
- High levels of attention to detail
- Advanced level MS Office skills (particularly MS Word)
- Articulate and have an excellent grasp of written English
- UK driving licence
