Well Placed HR are delighted to have been exclusively engaged to source a Senior Quality Assurance Manager for this precision medical manufacturing business. A role of significant responsibility and of pivotal importance to the site team, the successful candidate will lead the way in overseeing high quality manufacturing operations as well as mentoring and developing an experienced QA team.
Reporting to the Director of QA, the successful candidate will ensure high quality, compliant manufacturing output from a facility operating in a largely clean-room environment. The role will entail maintaining and developing strict quality control processes, working closely with colleagues and department heads throughout the site, reporting on findings and potential improvements.

The needle in a hay stack we're searching for:
Suited candidates will need to be educated to degree level in a relevant field (chemistry, quality management, biology etc.), and will possess a masters degree in a similar or relatable subject. Previous experience gained within a medical, healthcare or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment will be a pre-requisite, ideally with a sound understanding of European medical device regulations. International experience and ideally certified internal/external audit experience would be a strong desirable.
This is a communication focussed role and the Senior QA Manager will regularly liaise with their own team, department heads and senior management teams in both the UK and overseas. The business is highly technology focussed so good all round software exposure and IT aptitude essential.
