Senior Web Developer
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Web Developer with project management experience to join an innovative, family-owned business based in Harlow. In this role, you will oversee and support the development of websites across the company and play a key role in shaping the eCommerce strategy to drive growth.
The position is primarily based in Harlow, with the flexibility to work from home one day a week after completing the probationary period. A valid UK driving license is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage ongoing development projects for the eCommerce website, including requirement gathering, testing, and delivery.
- Lead the enhancement of the existing website, oversee migration to new platforms, and implement new web-based solutions and tools.
- Troubleshoot web-related issues to ensure smooth business operations.
- Initiate and lead website improvements to enhance the customer journey.
- Act as a team lead, mentoring team members, setting an example, and distributing tasks effectively.
Skills Required:
- Previous experience in a web development environment, particularly in a technical role.
- Proven experience in leading and managing web-related projects.
- Technical proficiency in eCommerce platforms such as Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce, etc.
- Strong knowledge of web technologies, including JavaScript, HTML, PHP, and Python.
- Experience working with and managing third-party web development agencies.
