The Head of Operations will lead the manufacturing departmentwith a focuson SQCDP.
This role would suit someone who is invested in developing, inspiring and motivating a team whilst focusing on driving continuous improvement and implementing and maintaining modern manufacturing principles.
Duties of the Head of Operations will include
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the operations team
- Oversee all aspects of plantoperations
- Develop and implement operational strategies and initiatives to optimise efficiency, reduce costs, and enhanceproductivity
- Lead incident investigations and root causeanalyses
- Responsibility for manufacturing budgets
- Lead multi-disciplined,cross functionalteams
- Ensure the target productivity level isachieved
- Maintain strong relationships with other departmentalmanagers
- Develop and mentor operations staff, promoting a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuouslearning
We are keen to speak with Heads of Operations / Senior Operations Managers with the following:
- Degree Qualified in a relevant engineering field
- Extensive people management experience
- Experience in managing Profit & Loss within a manufacturing environment
- Strong financial and commercial acumen
