Commercial Administrator

Commercial Administrator required for a new permanent role in the Leeds area.

The Role

The role of Commercial Administrator provides a range of administration support to the commercial and procurement teams.

Duties include:

Issue Health and Safety Contractor Competency Questionnaires for new contractors

COINS System Management - sub-contractor Insurances & SSIP annual updates

Process sub-contractor weekly and monthly applications for payment on COINS system, with assistance from Quantity Surveyors

Liaising with the Accounts department regarding payment and invoice queries

Issue contra-charges as appropriate with assistance from Quantity Surveyors

Processing and issuing sub-contract orders for approval by Quantity Surveyors

Manage Commercial email in box. Deal with telephone and e-mail enquiries.

Customer Extras - Additions weekly inputting of costs on Sales Monitor (uploading documents)

General office duties including accurate collation and storage of information and various administration duties for the Commercial team

The Person

Experience of working within a busy and fast-paced administration role

Experience of working with in the construction industry with a main contractor or sub-contractor is desirable

GCSE Maths and English - Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent)

Good interpersonal skills

Proficient IT skills along with a good working knowledge of COINS Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) COINS experience would be preferable and have the ability to adapt to new systems
