Finance Officer
- Salary: £29,228 pro rata

- Hours: 37.5 hours per week
My client is seeking a dedicated Finance Officer to join their team on a 6-month contract basis. The role involves supporting the Head of Finance with various financial services tasks and managing day-to-day financial operations. This position is based in Plymouth and offers a competitive pro rata salary and holiday entitlement.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Support the Head of Finance with tasks relating to the financial services.
- Manage the day-to-day financial services in liaison with the Head of Finance.
- Process incoming and outgoing invoices efficiently.
- Administer the bank account(s), including processing BACS payments.
- Prepare the monthly payroll submission accurately and on time.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- GCSE or equivalent in English language and mathematics at grade C or above.
- Dedicated financial management experience.
- Significant experience in the day-to-day management of accounting software.
- Ability to design, maintain, and develop financial systems.
- Experience of managing finance within a charitable organisation is highly desirable.
