BIM COORDINATOR
Rate: Competetive (Inside of IR35 + Lodge Contribution)
Location: Devonport, Plymouth
Duration: 12 Months + ( flexi working agreement possible )
I am currently recruiting for a BIM Coordinator familiar with 3D and 4D modelling to work on a major civils project based in Devonport, Plymouth.
BIM COORDINATOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as a subject matter expert for the digital construction tools/applications and provide technical support to personnel as and when required.
- Ensure that all modelling work is conducted in compliance with ISO 19650 and CAD standards.
- Understand the hardware and software requirements on the project and communicate with the BIM Lead and Project information Manager.
- Become the point of authority for all Synchro 4D pro Projects Produce high end visualisations to aid decision making and facilitate onsite construction.
- Assist and train Digital Construction Technicians and Modellers whenever required.
- Maintain high safety and environmental standards in accordance with company policies and report any inadequacies.
BIM COORDINATOR REQUIREMENTS
- Have good understanding of civil/structural design and principles.
- Previous experience in 3D-4D modelling
- Strong interest in 3D-4D design, modelling and creating immersive models.
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Synchro 4D pro.
- Possess a high level of visualisation techniques (Framing, Colour, Contrast, Symmetry etc).
- Knowledge and use of model coding for planning purposes within the 3D and 4D model.
- Prior experience of, 3Ds Max and video editing software beneficial but not essential.
- Degree educated in a civil engineering discipline, or equivalent experience
- Working knowledge of ISO 19650.
- Operate 3-5 days a week on site in our offices at Devonport Royal Dockyard, as required by site with the remainder by agreement working from home.
