The Southport Education Group is looking for a dedicated and innovative Lecturer in Maths to join our team. We offer maths programmes to a diverse group of learners, including 16 - 19-year-olds, adult learners, and apprentices. Our courses range from GCSE to Functional Skills, and we are committed to enhancing our student's achievement and experience.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver high-quality teaching in maths to a range of learners.
- Prepare and deliver lessons that are innovative and engaging.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of the maths curriculum.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of teaching strategies and academic success.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- An advanced Maths qualification (or equivalent) with at least 2 year's experience of teaching maths.
- A recognised teaching qualification.
- A dynamic, innovative, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
- Commitment to the education and success of students.
- Dedication to continuous professional development.
