Registered Manager - Supported Living

If you are a Registered Manager (CQC) with Supported Living and Mental Health Services background looking to manage and lead a brand-new supported living service, or you're a highly skilled Acting Manager| Deputy Manager with a similar background seeking a step up role, we'd like to hear from you.

The environment offers 24-hours CQC regulated mental health supported living service for adults 18-65 discharged from inpatient treatment with a wide range of services that assist adults in progressing along a planned path to independence within their modern and self-contained apartments.

The opportunity requires a dynamic, ambitious and passionate Registered Manager to assist in leading the group's mission in empowering independent living for individuals with diverse needs. The person would have strong experience working with services users with Mental Health Conditions, medication administration and adherence to healthcare protocols. RNLD/RMN background would be considered with prior experience in a supported living environment.

The group promote integrated discharge planning which involves collaboration with hospital services, GPs, public health nurses and other professionals to adopt a client centred approach to discharge and a smooth transition into their residential care.

As Registered Manager (reporting into the Director) you'd be responsible for the overall management and operation of the new supported living service, ensure highest standards of care and support are provided to services users while promoting their independence and enhancing their quality of life.

The Registered Manager would meet the following requirements:

  • Have a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in NVQ Health & Social Care support and training towards Level 4 and 5 is required. RNLD/RMN is desirable.
  • 4-5 years or more experience in a Registered Manager role
  • Proficiency in medication administration and adherence to healthcare protocols
  • Experience in a support living environment
  • Strong experience working with service users with Mental Health conditions.
  • Strong leadership capabilities to effectively manage a team and ensure smooth operations.
  • Ability to create personalised care plans based on individual service user requirements.
  • Excellent organisational skills to oversee facility management and staff coordination.
  • Ability to maintain a working relationship with commissioners and stakeholders.
  • Experience of writing tenders and joining frameworks
  • Confident, flexible and efficient.
  • Committed to providing person-centred care that provides equitable opportunities to all of those you're working for.
  • Able to work on a shift basis and, where required, be on call.
  • The right to work in the UK and a full UK Driving licence is essential
