My client is a well-established precision engineer working across several key sectors in Rotherham. Due to expansion and business needs they have a requirement for a Manual Turner at their machine shop in Rotherham.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Experience of working on a Manual Turner;; on either horizontal or vertical machines
- Minimum 5 years' experience
- 3 jaw and 5 jaw chucks
- Cutting tool techniques
- Working in high temperatures
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Experience of working on a Manual Turner; on either horizontal or vertical machines
- Understanding of engineering drawings
- Working to tight tolerances
- Ensure that all duties are carried out meeting health and safety guidelines
