About the Role:

The Energy Division at Advanced Resource Manager is currently looking for a Pipeline Engineer for a Global Engineering and Construction Contractor within the Offshore Energy Sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform all discipline analyses, technical reports, specifications, and drawings required to design the pipeline system and relevant components.
  • Assist with the selection of laying spread/methods, perform installation design analysis for the pipeline system, and define operational installation limits.
  • Verify subcontracted engineering.
  • Prepare technical specifications and requisition for material and services purchasing.
  • Ensure an adequate standard of technical documentation and contribute to updating Company standards.
  • Review the Client's technical documentation and requirements.
  • Prepare technical qualifications and contribute to the definition of the technical proposal while bidding for EPCI and T and I contracts.
  • Contribute to updating and improve the department tools for Sea Line Engineering
  • Contribute to maintaining the excellence in Sea line Engineering
  • Contribute to the definition, implementation, and improvement of the department quality system.
  • Contribute to the standardisation and definition of procedures for the department's working process.

What You Need to Succeed

  • A degree qualification in Civil, Structural, or mechanical engineering
  • Proven experience in the design of subsea oil and gas pipelines and pipeline systems
  • Design experience shall generally include WT, Stability, Bottom Roughness, Global Buckling, Tie-in design etc.
  • An understanding of material and coating requirements would be a distinct advantage.
  • The willingness to undertake a lead role in the FEED or Detailed Design stages of various upcoming projects.
  • A sound and general capability for using engineering software / programming skills.
