Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to students with PMLD, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assist with personal care and mobility needs, ensuring the well-being and comfort of each student.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and other professionals to implement individualised learning plans.
- Foster positive relationships with students, promoting independence and confidence.
About you:
- Experience working with students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).
- Understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by students with PMLD.
- Compassionate and patient attitude with a genuine commitment to making a positive impact on students' lives.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and other support professionals.
Requirements:
- Available Monday to Friday - 8.30 to 3.30
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service - we can help with this if you do not already have one. The cost of a new one is £46 and we will pay you back the £46 once you have worked 20 days for us!
