Key Responsibilities:
- Administer chemotherapy and other systemic anti-cancer treatments
- Monitor patient responses to treatments and manage side effects
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and self-care strategies
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of treatment
- Maintain meticulous records of patient care and treatment protocols
Skills & Experience Required:
- Current NMC registration
- Possession of a SACT passport or equivalent in-house oncology training
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in oncology nursing
- Proficiency in venepuncture and cannulation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
