Liquidity Reporting Manager

The role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Regulatory Reporting Assistant Manager to join our dynamic clients team.

As the Regulatory Reporting Assistant Manager, you will assist in preparing and submitting regulatory reports to ensure compliance with local and international regulations. You will also support developing and implementing robust systems and processes to enhance our regulatory reporting function.

The incumbent will handle all liquidity reports and help review the production of other regulatory returns, including COREP and CBK reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and submit regulatory reports to relevant authorities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, mainly external liquidity regulatory returns to PRA.

Daily internal regulatory reporting, including LCR, Large Exposures and Treasury pack.

Assisting the Bank with regulatory changes, controlling the effects on the business.

Participating in Financial Control Department key projects within regulatory reporting (automating reporting using Vermeg)

Assist the deputy financial controller with ad hoc tasks as required.

Collaborating with various departments to gather necessary data and information for regulatory reporting.

Performing daily, monthly, and quarterly regulatory reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of data.

Staying updated on changes in regulatory reporting requirements and communicating relevant updates to the team

Assisting in developing and implementing new regulatory reporting processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Conducting quality assurance checks on data submitted for regulatory reporting to identify and resolve discrepancies.

Responding to inquiries and requests from regulators and providing necessary supporting documents

Ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and internal policies and procedures

Supporting the Regulatory Reporting Manager in various ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field

(Highly desirable) A qualified / part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)

Minimum of 3 years of experience in regulatory reporting, preferably in a banking or financial services environment

Strong understanding of local and international regulatory requirements and reporting frameworks

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

High attention to detail and accuracy

Strong organisational and time-management skills

Desirables:

3+ years experience producing PRA liquidity reports (LCR, NSFR, PRA110. ALMM)

Strong Excel skills are essential as the reports are currently manual while moving to the Vermeg system.

Previous experience in using Vermeg would be advantageous.

Staff management experience would be advantageous as this role will help review daily/monthly regulatory reports.

Knowledge of other regulatory reports, e.g. Corep and BoE statistical returns, is desirable.

Please note that the role requires occasional weekend working if the 01 of the month falls on a Friday.
