Role: Supply Chain Specialist (Governance) Salary/Rate: £ 40 per hr (inside IR35) Location: Hybrid - 3 days per week on site near Reading Contract Duration: 12 months
We are currently looking for a Supply Chain Specialist (Governance) for our government client. This Supply Chain Specialist (Governance) role is hybrid, based between 3 days per week on site in Aldermaston, and the remainder of the week working remotely.
The contract for the Supply Chain Specialist (Governance) position is for 12-months with potential to extend, operating inside IR35.
Security Clearance: Security Check ("SC Clearance")
This role is inside IR35 - Due to the service of the role, it will now be based on an Umbrella solution.
Role Profile/Responsibilities:
- Governance experience required - not a procurement role - this role sits within the Process and Performance Excellence Team, looking at the Governance which supports the Procurements that are going through individual public procurement regulations, rather than the Procurement itself
- Must have previously implemented and managed a governance and compliance service for strategic procurements
- Experience of governance processes within a procurement or commercial environment
- Experience working on complex and high value procurement projects
- Stakeholder Management/Engagement - internal and external - Making sure stakeholders are aware of changes regarding governance
- Experience in delivering business change / continuous improvement programmes
- Information security and/or governance knowledge
- Multi-tasking
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
- Able to support a team
- Organising, planning, and effectively implementing projects and tasks
- PCR 2015 - desirable
- CIPS L4 - desirable
