Solutions Architect – Banking/Payments
Do you have a true passion for building innovative Financial Services products? This niche award-winning business within the Banking/Payments space is looking for an experienced Solutions Architect to take a key role in defining and delivering software and solutions architectures that supports the creation of their new Java & API platform.
Responsibilities of a Solutions Architect – Banking/Payments include:
- Architectural designs encompassing the target solutions architecture
- Architecture delivered against requirements for security, scalability, performance and availability
- Driving quality through adoption of standards and best practice
- Building close working relationships with engineering & the wider technology group
- Leading architecture & design reviews throughout the whole Development lifecycle
- Supporting product management, defining and refining solutions architecture to support new product capabilities
Skills and experience of a Solutions Architect - Payments/Banking:
- Ability to design & implement end-to-end application and technical architectures for highly concurrent, real-time transactional systems
- Experienced in conceptual, application, integration, logical and physical modelling
- Experience of analysing and implementing solutions to meet both functional and non-functional requirements
- Experience of producing low-level software architectures
- Deep Java, API & Microservices background
- Experience across modern architectural / delivery standards and methods including Agile, TDD, BDD, CI/CD automation, DevOps practices
- Ability to build and develop relationships across all levels of the business
- Experience and appreciation for the Payments Industry is preferred but not essential
In return you will be rewarded with between £90,000 - £95,000, an excellent working environment and benefits which includes a generous Bonus.
