Production Assistant (Twilight) - Dairy / Filling
Department: Dairy department only
Location: Nuffield Industrial Estate, Witney Road, Poole
Shift Patterns: Twilights Monday to Friday 15:00 pm till 23:00 pm
Our client based in Poole are leaders in their field, and they are gearing up for their busy peak season with a requirement for multiple reliable and focused individuals to work as Production Operatives in their Dairy / Filling department on the bust twilight shift.
The Dairy / Filling department is a fast-moving production environment and is where the company bottle, label and prepare their liquid products ready for distribution. You must be able work quickly and accurately, and will require a keen eye for detail, ensuring each product is of the highest quality.
You will join an established and highly effective team, learning the processes throughout each day, ensuring your journey is informative and smooth, whilst making friends along the way. The detailed training plan will see you thrive, all you need is a willingness to learn and of course, the drive.
The role will require the following from you:
- Filling bottles / containers with liquids using automated machinery.
- Accurately applying labels
- Ensuring the bottles / containers are filled with the correct quantity of product throughout the day, fulfilling daily targets.
- Ensure each product is of a high quality ready to be packed and distributed.
- Ability to understand clear instruction given by a Team leader.
- Be able to work in a team and individually.
- Always maintain a high level of cleanliness around your working area.
All workers will be required to do the following:
- Wear suitable PPE (personal protective equipment) which will be provided.
- Stand throughout your working hours.
- Reach production levels required.
These roles are for our clients seasonal Christmas period, applicants should only apply only if they are able to commit to the full season. We welcome immediate applications for these roles, but expect the work to start on the 01st July, with further start dates scheduled for the rest of the month.
Pay Rate for Twilight: £12.50 per hour
Benefits:
Bonus structure - Once you have completed 2 weeks of training, you will have the opportunity to earn up to an extra £21 per day in bonus based on the performance of the department.
