Spotlightjobs are now recruiting for an experienced Insurance Account Handler for an established and very successful Broker in Liverpool.

Your role is to assist in retention and development of clients, by managing their exposure to risk and administering their portfolio. To ensure that standards of quality of service for clients and insurers is maintained and improved. To use knowledge of the insurance market to obtain appropriate insurance cover for clients at an optimum price, whilst always acting in the best interest of you're clients.

Typical tasks undertaken in this role

1. Maintain excellent verbal and written communication with Clients and all insurers/suppliers at all stages of the process to maximise service levels.

2. Arrange and handle the placement of cover for clients, and provide continuity of cover, existing and new, in a compliant fashion, adhering at all times to Broking Procedures and Best Practice.

3. Produce high quality, accurate cover & risk information and documentation in a timely fashion.

4. Liaise with clients, insurers and others where appropriate to respond to client queries.

5. Ensure that the appropriate broking systems are updated and maintained

6. Ensure timely debiting

7. Be a technical referral point for other team members.

For more senior and experienced handlers you may be have some additional responsibilities which will be reflected in your salary and benefits e.g

Supervise and monitor team member's work, and proactively identify revisions to the company's Broking Procedures.- Act as a Coach, Mentor and Trouble-shooter for team members
