My client is seeking a Category Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Category Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing the category strategy, managing the product portfolio, conducting market research and analysis, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience working with metals and plastics (aluminium is desirable). You will also have the opportunity to work on cross-functional projects and initiatives that support the company's vision and goals.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
At least 3 years of experience in procurement
- Experience in purchasing raw material (Ideally Aluminium)
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skillsA customer-centric and results-oriented mindset
- A high level of creativity and innovation
- A willingness to learn and adapt to changing market conditions
