Finance Manager required for a well-established travel company based in Maidstone, Kent. The company which has both a leisure and corporate arm of the business is looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years experience in a relevant accountancy, banking, investment or financial analytics role. This role can be office based or hybrid with at least 3 days in the office and carries a salary of up to £50,000.
Finance Manager responsibilities include:
- Manage internal financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems
- Review company financial reports and seek ways to reduce costs
- Lead payroll, VAT and HMRC processes
- Manage the purchase and sales ledger, prepare monthly accruals, prepayments and accounting queries
- Analyse financial reports and present findings to the board
- Manage audit processes of current systems
Finance Manager skills required:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar or relevant role
- Accountancy qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, IFA or a bachelors degree
- Confidence in analysing competitors and market trends
- Ability to produce accurate financial reports
- Accounting software packages such as Sage, Quickbooks, Oracle, Zoho, Wave
- Working knowledge of financial regulations and legislation
- Travel industry experience beneficial but not essential

- Monday-Friday 9am-6pm
- Hybrid or office based in Maidstone
- 28 days holiday
- Salary up to £50,000
