Are you an experinced Architectural Technologist who is looking to join a close-knit and sociable practice who are committed to creating sustainable architecture?

Our client is an award-winning practice that is passionate about the environment which is reflected in the variety of projects they carry out. As a practice, they have formed a supportive and sociable environment that values its employees.

They are currently looking for an individual to join their team in Norwich as an Architectural Technologist with around 2 years experience post qualification in addition to excellent specifications and CAD skills.

Working hours:

  • As an Architectural Technologist, you'll be required to work Monday to Friday. Some overtime may be required as and when a project demands
  • Hybrid basis

The successful Architectural Technologist will be offered:

Essential requirements:

  • Around 2 years experience in practice/post-qualification
  • Good communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently, as well as, part of a wider team
  • Strong working knowledge of current UK Building Regulations
  • Highly proficient technical detailing ability across new and existing buildings
  • Excellent specification & CAD skills (2D and 3D).
  • Experience in submitting planning applications including creating Design and Access statements and planning drawing packages.
  • Able to conduct measured and photographic surveys of existing buildings and draw up results.

Desirable requirements:

  • MCIAT qualification or working towards it.
  • Experience working with existing buildings
  • Knowledge of PAS 2035 and 2038 standards.
  • Experience in ArchiCAD (2D and 3D)
  • Experience across all RIBA workstages.
