Logistics People are looking for Forklift Truck Drivers/Forklift Truck Operatives/Forklift Drivers/FLT Drivers/FLT Operatives to join our team.

** 3 Months Forklift Driving – Counterbalance, Reach Or Bendi Experience required!***

Location: Minworth, Great Bear

Working Hours:

Pay Rate: £13.50 P/hr

Position: Forklift Truck Driver

As a Forklift Truck Driver for Logistics People your role will consist of various duties including but not limited to:

Unload, inspect, and verify incoming goods against the internal system.
Check for damages and report discrepancies to the appropriate parties.
Pick and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications.
Operate PPT and Aisle Master, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
Load and unload trucks and containers as needed.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as per Health and Safety Regulations.
Report any accidents, incidents, or hazardous conditions to the management immediately.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Ability to operate forklifts ( Counterbalance, Reach or Bendi) and other material handling equipment, with certification available at the request ( External, In-house, In-date, Out-of date- 5 years max).
Strong attention to detail.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
This role will include and require you to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
Lifting and moving objects up to 12kg
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
