Job role
We are excited to offer the opportunity to join our wonderful school and work with our exceptional pupils. We are currently looking to appoint an experienced and dedicated Assistant Headteacher for Curriculum and Progress to contribute to the further development of the school.

Among other duties the successful candidate will take lead responsibility for managing and developing teaching and learning across the school, ensuring that our pupils receive a high-quality education designed to develop pupils to maximise their potential - academically, socially and vocationally. You will also be responsible for reviewing progress across the school, including Quality Assurance of outcome data and holding staff to account for the progress their pupils make.

If you have a passion to further develop a creative and exciting curriculum and are passionate about supporting children and young people with SEMH and ASD to maximise their potential, then we would love to hear from you.

The appointed person will;

  • have previous leadership/management experience;
  • be suitably qualified with experience teaching within the primary and/or secondary phase;
  • have experience working with pupils who have behavioural difficulties, specifically SEMH and those with an ASD diagnosis;
  • have experience of developing and implementing policies and procedures related to pupil wellbeing and behaviour curriculum.
  • have emotional resilience and a good sense of humour!
