Project Manager(s) for Capital Projects
We are seeking experienced interim Project Managers to join our team and lead a variety of ambitious capital projects, including schools, leisure centres, and depots, with values ranging from £0.5m to £20m+. This role is ideal for a seasoned Project Manager who can seamlessly integrate into our dynamic environment and contribute to the delivery of projects that positively impact the community, environment, and residents.
Position Details:
- Duration: Up to 6 months
- Commitment: 4-5 days per week
- Location: Based in pleasant waterfront offices in Liverpool, with the flexibility to work from home for up to 2 days per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of projects in collaboration with sponsors and users, including preparing business cases and project delivery strategies
- Act as the Client Project Manager on various projects
- Manage multidisciplinary project teams
- Prepare and oversee project budgets, financial reporting, programming, and project planning, including risk management plans
- Develop consultancy briefs, procure, and manage consultants and service contracts
- Conduct regular site visits
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Proven track record in delivering building projects from inception to completion across all RIBA stages
- Experience as a Client Project Manager for large-scale and complex projects
- Familiarity with JCT and NEC contracts
- Proficiency in procuring and appointing specialists, including design teams, cost planners, and external Project Managers
- Knowledge of the planning application process and development management
- Professional qualifications: RICS, RIBA, CIOB, or APM
- Recognised Project Management Qualification within the construction industry
- Ability to undertake site visits as necessary
