Premier Work Support are excited to be recruiting for temporary Warehouse Order Pickers to assist with holiday cover and the busy summer period for our prestigious client based in Horley. For the right candidate, there could be potential for the role to continue and go permanent.
As an Order Picker, you will be required to work to pick rates, 300 - 400 per shift once trained. This is a physically demanding, targeted role.
Full Time: Monday to Friday, 12:00 to 21:30
Due to the needs of the business, the hours may change to a later finish.
Pay Rate: £12.02 per hour
Main Duties:
- Manual handling.
- Working in a team environment.
- Working in a safe and precautious manner adhering to all H&S and security elements within the workplace.
- You will be required to work to pick rates, 300 - 400 per shift once trained.
- Using hand-held scanners to ensure all orders are picked accurately ready to be dispatched to the customers.
You will need to have worked previously in a fast-paced warehouse/logistics environment with strong attention to detail. You will be working closely with other members of the warehouse team.
Full training will be given in line with our client's working environment.
If you have any forklift licences and experience of using a forklift this would be an advantage.
