Our client, a leading manufacturer in the construction sector, is seeking a Customer Relations Specialist to join their dynamic team in Milton Keynes. This role is integral to ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service and enhancing the overall experience for their customers.

As the Customer Relations Specialist, you will manage customer care, queries, and complaints from start to finish, ensuring timely and appropriate resolutions. You will act as the primary point of contact for customer complaint updates, collaborating with various departments to improve processes and reduce complaint levels. A key part of the role is to ensure that customer complaints are handled within company KPIs, with the ability to produce regular reports and present complaint data effectively.

This role requires a confident communicator who is skilled in complaint management and has a strong background in customer service. You should be able to work autonomously, meet targets, and efficiently manage multiple tasks. Strong attention to detail, resilience, and a professional telephone manner are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the full process of customer complaints, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
  • Acting as the main liaison for customer complaints and quality-related updates.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to drive continuous improvement in customer service.
  • Compiling and presenting regular complaint data and reports.
  • Working towards the reduction of complaint levels through effective communication and problem-solving.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in complaint management and quality investigations.
  • Proven background in customer service, ideally within a similar role.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently without close supervision.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Computer literacy with intermediate knowledge of common software applications.

Desirable Experience:

  • Familiarity with SAP and CRM systems.
  • Knowledge of products related to the roofing or construction industry would be beneficial but not essential.

Package:

  • Salary: £31,500
  • Eligible for a 15% annual bonus
  • Pension scheme: 4-8% matched
  • Permanent position
  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
