MLC Partners are excited to be working with a prestigious public sector organisation on three integral finance roles.
As the organisation prepares for the upcoming United Kingdom Parliamentary General Election on the 4th of July, they are embarking on an exciting journey of expansion and innovation. We are looking for talented finance professionals to join the team and support the mission. We have three exciting opportunities: Head of FP&A, an FP&A Accountant and a Financial Analyst.
1. The Head of Financial Planning and Analysis will need strong business partnering experience to collaborate with other directorates budget holders to provide financial insights and support decision-making. They will need to have exceptional financial analysis skills, and be adept at performance evaluations, financial modelling, budget preparation, whilst also demonstrating solid leadership and managerial ability.
2. The Financial Planning and Analysis Accountant will manage budgetary processes and ensure fiscal discipline while also focusing on both short and medium-term financial strategies and planning. By integrating these functions, the position aims to bridge the gap between budgeting and strategic planning, aligning financial resources with the organisation's broader goals.
3. The Financial Analyst will provide in-depth financial analysis, forecasting, and performance monitoring while also evaluating investment opportunities and conducting cost-benefit analyses. This consolidation aims to enhance informed financial decision-making and optimise resources, though it will require effective prioritisation due to the extensive responsibilities.
