Role-

Ramp Technician Semi-Skilled

Shift

-4 on 4 off shifts, 6pm to 6am

Main Purpose of the Job:

Reporting to the Ramp Duty Manager, you will be expected to deliver outstanding levels of customer service, whilst maintaining the highest quality and safety standards. You will be required to carry out minor first fix repairs, fluid top ups, battery changes, battery charging, customer fleet inspections, driving duties and driver checks on a wide range of vehicles and Ground support equipment.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

1.Ensure all Preventative works are carried out in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with HAL regulations for Airside working.

2.Respond to all breakdowns in the designated time when allocated.

3.Ensure all relevant electronic records are fully completed and accurate including any details and pictures that may assist the workshop.

4.Liaise with the Duty Manager and Workshop colleagues to provide updates on job status and progress where required.

5.Comply with Health and Safety Legislation and internal H&S procedures including use of company issued mobile tablets and company mobile phones.

6.Ensure all Personal Protective Equipment is worn where necessary and is in good working order and condition.

7.Ensure company vehicles are used in line with company policies / legal requirements and are kept clean and tidy and restocked of parts and consumables after use.

8.Assist the Recovery Team with vehicle manoeuvring around the workshop or airport as and when required where trained to do so and in conjunction with appropriate licences held.

9.Carry out other reasonable duties as required to support operational requirements.

10.To take reasonable care of the health and safety of themselves and of others who may be affected by their actions or omissions.

11.To cooperate with your employer on health and safety.
