Day to Day of the role:
- Work under the direct instruction of teaching/senior staff, supporting pupils within the classroom environment.
- Provide support to pupils with complex SEND, including physical, communication, sensory, SEMH, and cognition and learning needs.
- Assist with the preparation and routine maintenance of classroom resources and equipment.
- Develop knowledge and skills required for effective support in a SEN setting.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience working with children or young people, preferably in a SEN setting.
- A compassionate and patient approach to supporting students with complex needs.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to professional development and learning.
