TPF Recruitment has been retained exclusively by one of Kent's leading chartered accountancy practices to support them in their search for a Private Client Tax Partner/ Director. If you are an experienced tax professional with a passion for private client services, this is your chance to contribute to the success of a dynamic and forward-thinking accountancy practice. You can join as either a Partner or a Director, depending on experience with a clear progression plan in place. You can also be based anywhere in Kent, with hybrid working on offer. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the private client tax department, ensuring high-quality service delivery
  • Provide expert advice on a range of private client tax matters, including inheritance tax, trusts, and estate planning
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, offering strategic tax planning solutions
  • Stay abreast of changes in tax legislation and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide integrated client solutions
  • Oversee a team made up of Managers, Seniors and Trainees
  • Contribute to the overall strategic direction and growth of the firm and be involved in networking and marketing events

Requirements

  • ACA/CTA qualified, with substantial experience in private client tax
  • Proven track record in leading and managing a tax department
  • In-depth knowledge of inheritance tax, trusts, and estate planning
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships
  • Ability to interpret and apply complex tax legislation
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to contribute to the firm's growth
