Posted by Hillarys Blinds.

Are you detail-oriented, driven, and proficient in financial modelling and data analysis? Are you looking to take the next step in your career? If so, we want to hear from you! An exciting opportunity has arisen for an FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team based in Colwick, Nottingham.

This is a hybrid role, with three days in the office and two days working from home.

Hillarys are part of the Hunter Douglas group of companies, so you'll be working across multiple brands. This global role will cover the UK Market division and will involve working closely with the EMEA team, with regular contact with the EMEA CFO.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparation and delivery of timely monthly reporting packages for the UK Market.
  • Developing and maintaining financial models to support decision making.
  • Gathering and scrutinising financial data against key business metrics and provide variance analysis.
  • Effective collaboration with key stakeholders to gather financial data and insights.
  • Supporting the annual budget, monthly rolling forecast activities and long-term plans.
  • Supporting data gathering for the tracking of multiple global projects.
  • Assisting in ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required.

Why should you consider this role? Here are just a few reasons:

  1. Make an impact: Take on a key role in our Finance Department and have a lasting impact on key internal stakeholders by establishing effective working relationships.
  2. Help drive change: Contribute to driving change by providing valuable insights and analysis to Management to inform key business decisions and support organisational success.
  3. Career progression: At Hillarys, we excel in nurturing the career development of those who join us and are passionate about what they do. In this role, the candidate with the correct mind-set will have the opportunity to develop and potentially complete further Finance qualifications.

Are you the ideal candidate? Here is what we are looking for...

  • Comfortable managing and manipulating large datasets, to help analyse, review and report performance.
  • A proactive starter with a keen eye for detail.
  • A confident communicator who is able to interact effectively with people at all levels. The role involves working with key stakeholders across the businesses and liaising with our group counterparts.
  • Be able to prioritise, with a positive, can-do and resilient attitude, to help drive the business forward and deliver on our strategic aims.
  • The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Continuous improvement with the ability to improve and simplify processes.
  • The ideal candidate would be proficient in financial modelling and data analysis tools such as Power BI and Microsoft Excel.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a numerate field or equivalent is preferable.

You'll receive a wide range of benefits, including generous colleague discount for you (and family and friends!), a healthcare and lifestyle benefits package and a wide range of wellbeing initiatives.

We understand that there is no ‘one size fits all' approach, and with this in mind, we are dedicated to providing an inclusive workplace where every colleague feels valued and comfortable to be their true self. If you require any reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment process, please do let us know and we'll be happy to accommodate.

The recruitment process will consist of a video screening stage, followed by two short assessments, and a face-to-face interview.

Everyone who applies will receive a response.

Please note that we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this particular role.
